Join us for a special evening of music at the Acton Jazz Cafe. Molly Flannery on Piano, Jon Simmons on Trombone and percussion, Lorrie Kubicek on Vocals and me on guitar. Also joining us will be Kimberly Khare on vocals.

The Jazzed For A Cure Foundation is all about enhancing patient life while a person is undergoing treatment for a Cancer related illness. In the past the money raised by concerts and the sale of the Song For Amy CD have helped purchase laptop computers and Wii Game Systems for Bone Marrow Transplant patients at Mass General Hospital (see the pictures below ). The Laptops are used for email and internet access so patients can keep in touch with extended family. The Wii systems can be wheeled into patient rooms can help with physical therapy.

Last year we purchased 2 Ipads for the HOPES program and just purchased 4 more for the Bone Marrow Transplant program at MGH. With the proceeds from this event we would like to purchase 2 more Ipads and some more apps.
